It’s our 300th episode this week and we record from the Fox & Fiddle in downtown London, ON. Big thanks to the staff for the great service and letting us use the downstairs area! Our weekly gaming and some GamesDay trivia (compiled by Warren) are on tap. Also a huge thanks for the show of support over the years from our amazing friends and family — it was great seeing A.W., Jamieson, Mary, Charlie, Cathy and Danielle at the show!
It’s another lengthy episode with talk of Splatoon, Agario (Corey’s latest browser-based addiction), some old school Cribbage, Batman’s PC woes, Bungie’s PR gaffes and Ian’s vague understanding of Hearthstone’s new mode called Tavern Brawl, as (to quote his notes) “…Ragnaros asymmetrical random decks Nefarian challenge deviated bananas something something locked in. Get a pack!”
E3 is upon us once again and we recap the offerings from Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo.
It’s time for another trivia show and this week we sink our teeth into the Uncharted series.
This week Mathew returns to Dracula’s castle with the new Kickstarter action platformer veteran Koji Igarashi. His new game, which has already far-exceeded its campaign goal, promises to be in the same vein as your favourite gothic, exploration-based game. Ian’s been busy with lots of other things lately but spent some time chilling out with Flow. Warren’s still into Heroes of the Storm and talks about the newly-released Kel’Thuzad. Corey played a variety of tabletop games including Star Realms, Sushi Go! and Strife: Legacy of the Eternals.
There are no words to describe the levels reached in this week’s episode. These levels are so far beyond previous levels that new measurement tools will be employed from this point forward.
