The OUYA, Kickstarter’s somewhat maligned microconsole, arrived at Tinderbox Studios on May 28 and we’ve had lots of folks asking about our first impressions.
At first glace some kind of Soviet-era Disney propaganda film, The Cat that Got the Milk takes a classic maze-running game that at first glance looks like Qix, fuses it with only two controls (up and down) adds motion and some confusion, and lets you download it for free. You heard right, this 18-level indie game is free (and 30MB).
We’ve heard from a few people that Diablo 3 would be out by February 1, 2012. A few days ago, Blizzard put those rumours to death and the latest post by Jay Wilson, the director of Diablo 3, which outlines changes they’re still making to the game, nails shut the coffin on a nearby release date.
While you watch the above clip (which shows on of the game’s new vendetta characters, Shoshanna), remember that the demo for The Darkness 2 comes out on XBox tomorrow and on PSN on the 24th. Worked on by London’s own Digital Extremes, The Darkness 2 is one of the must-play games on our list for 2012.
